CHAPTER SIX

Ashton was sure he was having an out of body experience with the intensity of their lovemaking. His entire body was vibrating and alive. Logan was built to perfection and larger than anyone he’d been intimate with in the past.

His size had been somewhat intimidating for a second, but the excitement soon drowned out the concern over whether he’d fit. There was no doubt that he would fit, and the accompanying stretch and burn was pure euphoria. Ashton had never felt so full and so satisfied. It was almost like they were made for each other.

Logan was his perfect lover, the man he’d envisioned to take him, teach him, and love him. The love part might be presumptuous, but a guy could dream, and right now, with Logan’s naked body still draped over him, the dreams were loving and gorgeous.

He felt Logan bite him when he climaxed, and it was so erotic that Ashton came again as sensations raw and fantastic rushed through him. He saw stars flash behind his eyelids and a shiver of awareness beyond the normal invaded his mind. Logan was his match, love, and future; those were the understandings that washed through him. It was out of place, yet it wasn’t, and Ashton recognized the moment as important, although he did not fully understand it.

Things happened this night that he couldn’t explain, but he felt nothing but safe and cherished through it all. St Louis was a mystical city, and this was not the first time he questioned his perceptions. He felt Logan pulling out slowly, allowing Ashton’s body to adjust to the void. Not everyone was so considerate. He wondered if Logan would stay or if he would get up and leave. The thought of Logan leaving caused a rush of sadness to wash over him, and he tightened his hold on Logan’s shoulders as if he could prevent him from going.

“I’m not going anywhere.” Logan moved to lay beside him and reached over to snag a couple tissues to give them both a quick cleanup. “We can shower later right now. I want to hold you.” They were both naked, and Logan cuddled Ashton to his large body, tucking him close and wrapping him tight in his arms. Ashton wondered if he’d read his mind or was just being very obvious with his feelings for Logan seemed to know his thoughts and needs.

“Rest, my love, I’ll keep you safe and warm.” He chuckled and pulled Ashton’s back, snug to his chest, and dropped a kiss to the little area he’d bitten just a few minutes ago. Ashton was not prepared for the electrical charge that coursed through him, which sensitized every nerve ending and forced a very unmanly squeal to cross his lips.

“What was that? I’m tingling all over.” He panted out the words, his body reacting sharply to the touch.

“You’re all mine, baby.” Logan’s voice was deep, and gravely the tone sending more sexy sensations to dance across Ashton’s flesh. “All mine.” He buried his face against the back of Ashton’s neck.
